Acuzar, a Spanish era inspired community like Vigan

This is Acuzar. University of the Philippines School of Fine Arts used was located here. The UP School of Fine Arts "house" has preserved some photographs of Fine Arts students here including the famous Fernando Amorsolo and others. When I came here, I did not know that a U.P School was here. It was an awesome discovery for me. Lots of old Spanish era houses were standing here, the roads are made of tiles( like Vigan tiles). And what added to its beautiful sight is that is beside a beautiful beach. You can also see sheeps here. It was a very peaceful community. It is located in Bagac, Bataan, about 3 1/2 hours drive from Manila.

Beautiful sunset of Manila bay as viewed in Bataan, Philippines

This is one of the most peaceful sunsets we had with my kids in one of the best beaches in Bagac, Bataan. The surroundings was so calm and serene.

Bagac, Bataan is reachable at 3.5 hours from Manila. Some of the best beaches of Bataan are found here. Since Bataan is a peninsula, many scenic views are the best feature of the province.

Of course, the foods are fresh and mouth watering. The people are friendly and hospitable. The price of this vacation will be around P1000 per head per day inclusive of transportation from Manila, accommodation at the beach cottage, and food. Incredibly affordable for a summer get-away.

Manila

March 27, 2009

I am in Manila today. I was invited by my internet mentor, Jomar Hilario to be one of the facilitators for the seminar about earning on the internet. I was so grateful for this opportunity. I am thinking how the Lord is opening up the universe of opportunities for me the past weeks. I am just so grateful!

Manila is three hours travel from my province, Bataan. Noisy and polluted but definitely a must-see place for the best shopping malls (like Mall of Asia), and great bars. It offers so many tourist attractions. Best of all, I believe Manila should be tagged shopping capital of the world, too. From the cheapest to the signature brands clothing lines and shoes, accessories, and other shopaholic craves about. The best concerts are seen here, too. Best events! Like this one I will be attending today. The best speakers! Great! Oooppss, its almost 2:00PM. Should be going now.

And oh, by the way? If you like to visit new places that are afforable but definitely would give you summer fun, check out the other posts on this site! HAPPY SUMMER!

Ocean Adventure

Love the awesome sea lion and dolphin show here!Added attractions? The walk-through aquarium with wide-variety of fishes. The so-clean beach. Shopping at duty free afterwards. Great and fancy restaurants, and delectable dishes. Parks within Subic. Spa and wellness centers. Fresh air. Magnificent view! How to get there? Bus from Manila to Olongapo or your own ride for 3-4 hours.

La Vista Resort

This is one of the pools at La Vista Resort in Balanga City, Bataan. Can you seen the water falling from the roof of the sort of terrace? It was so thrilling to swim here. I lay down at the edge of this "terrace" and let the water fall at my back. It felt so great like I was being massaged. Great fun! And it's affordable also. We rented an over night aircon room with T.V., with own bathroom with hot water, free use of the phone, accommodated two adults two kids for only P1,400.00. The surroundings are very clean and tranquil. The place is so secured. Great option this summer! You can take a bus from Manila to Balanga, Bataan for around P200+ for fare at 3 hours travel. You can bring your own food, too. The resort has three moore pools, one is a wave pool, the other two has long slides. It also has other attractions like the Pirate's Cove, Butterfly Garden, Kalesa, Boat riding, and more. Great summer here!

Camaya Coast

Camaya Coast is located in Mariveles, Bataan. It is a haven that is being developed to be like Boracay. You ride a bus to Mariveles then a banca to go to the coast. It has a clean shoreline. The water is clean as well. The air is so fresh. The trees are inviting. The mountains are all around you as if so proud to say how magnificent your surroundings are. It was a refreshing serenity to behold. Playing on the sand is so fun-filled and amusing. Maybe it is not yet a "Boracay", but that's waht attracts me most to the place, it is still a virgin. No crowding of too many people yet, which means there is no loudness yet around you. The place is definitely a haven of tranquility and peace.
